Sandra Lotti is a native Tuscan who is for many Italians the foremost authority on the cuisine of her region. Since 1995 she has taught nearly 1,000 guests the fundamentals of Tuscan cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients and classic methods. The school’s daily lessons are aimed at the home cook, so no advance training is necessary.

Each day at Toscana Saporita includes a culinary lesson, a professionally guided tour and a multi-course candlelit dinner in the main dining room, prepared by the school’s chefs and served with fine Italian wines expertly paired to each dish. The one-week program also includes a private dinner at a celebrated local restaurant, and a wine-tasting dinner conducted by one of the Chianti wine-growing region’s leading vintners.
