Prices are based on double occupancy and include accommodation, all meals with unlimited wine, lessons, tours, airport or rail transfers, taxes, tips and gratuities. There are no hidden costs or additional expenses. For those not wishing to share a bedroom, single occupancy is available for an additional $400. Private bathrooms are available for an additional $200 per person.

Accommodations - Participants stay in fully-equipped suites in the Toscana Saporita villa. Each suite contains three bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, living room, and two fully-equipped modern bathrooms.

Non-Cooking Guests - We welcome friends and spouses who would like to come to Camporomano without taking part in the cooking program. The fee for non-cooking guests is $2050 for all courses and includes everything except class instruction.

Payment - A $500 deposit is required at time of booking with the balance due no later than 60 days before the course date. Prices quoted are based on foreign exchange rates as of May, 2002 and may be subject to change. Your cost is guaranteed once the deposit has been received. Those paying by credit card, please add 3.2%.

Travel Arrangements - Toscana Saporita is located 15 miles from Pisa International Airport which has direct flights from Rome, Milan and most other major European cities. Our driver will pick you up at Pisa Airport, or the Viareggio Train Station or Bus Depot, but arrival information must be provided at least one week ahead of time.

Extending Your Stay - Located in the heart of Tuscany's wine and olive-growing region and only 30 miles from Florence, Camporomano is an ideal base for touring Tuscany. The estate itself offers a wide range of amenities (swimming pool, hiking, extensive grounds and gardens) available to all guests. Those wishing to stay beyond the completion of cooking school can do so at the special rate of $60 per day.

Cancellations and Refunds
- The Toscana Saporita Tuscan Cooking School reserves the right to cancel any course for any reason. If a course is canceled, all monies will be refunded and such refund will release Toscana Saporita from any liability. In order to cancel your registration, you must send written notification. Monies paid by you will be refunded less a cancellation fee determined as of the date Toscana Saporita receives your written notice. Cancellation fees are:
60 days or more before course date, $250;
45-59 days before course date, $500;
less than 45 days before course date, 100% of monies paid.
Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

Responsibility - Initial registration indicates agreement with all terms and conditions as stated here. Toscana Saporita reserves the right to make any curriculum or itinerary changes whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant. The Cooking School shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any injury, death or damage for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to war, acts of God, weather, strike, detention, delay, airline or other travel-related circumstances. Toscana Saporita also reserves the right to accept or refuse any person as a course participant. No refund is applicable if a participant is asked to leave. The Cooking School is not responsible for any belongings damaged, lost or left behind by participants.
