Getting to Tuscany.

has two major airports; Florence Amerigo Vespucci and Pisa Galileo Galilei
70Km west of Florence.

In our experience Pisa is the cheapest of the two airports to fly to.
Pisa also has the benefit of being served by the low fares airline, Ryanair
from London Stansted, Brussels Charleroi and Frankfurt Hahn. Ryanair have
regular special offers to Pisa with tickets priced as low as 1 Euro return.
Connections with Florence
There is a direct train that runs from Pisa airport the central station
in Florence (Firenze S.M.N) every two hours. The journey takes approximatley
1 hour and costs around €5.
Connections with Lucca
If you take a taxi to Pisa Centrale which takes about 5 minutes you will
find regular trains to Lucca as well as Viareggio, Montecatini and Florence.
Other Options
You can also fly to Bologna which is 1 hour by train from Florence and
Rome is 1.5 hours from Florence on the Eurostar Express from Roma Termini.

Davinci offer subsidised airport transfers to all clients between Pisa
Airport and Davinci properties. This service is also available to non-Davinci
clients.
